Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: Shay Star was born on February 6, 1986. She later relocated to Dover, Delaware. Her musical aspirations began at 4 years of age. At 9 years old she began singing in her church youth choir. Shay also hails from a very musically inclined family who has influenced her to pursue a career in singing and songwriting. She is a very outgoing and talented young woman.
